Horn of Africa food crisis appeal
At least 7 million people are facing hunger in East Africa after drought has led to serious food shortages.
Burma (Myanmar) cyclone appeal
A devastating cyclone ripped across Burma bringing 120 mph winds, torrential rain, flooding and a sea surge that swept inland. ActionAid is working in the Irrawaddy region, one of the worst affected areas.
East Africa food shortages
Seasonal rains have failed in the Horn of Africa. ActionAid's relief programme is helping the most vulnerable people in the region and supplying seeds to farmers so they can replace their failed crops.
Bangladesh appeal
ActionAid’s partners in Bangladesh are assisting in the rescue effort, providing food, cooking materials, water, clothing and medicine, after a deadly cyclone devastated the coastline causing widespread flooding.
