Geldof catches 'Get on Board' bus to Gleneagles
This afternoon Bob Geldof arrived in Edinburgh and caught the ActionAid Get on Board - Jo’burg to G8 bus to Gleneagles to take part in the G8 summit.

After an epic journey across Africa, collecting thousands of messages from African people to take to the G8, ActionAid’s bus got one more message from Bob.

His message to the G8 was: "B GR8."

Ivy Maina, from ActionAid’s Get on Board crew, who has travelled on the bus since the start, said: "It’s great Bob’s got on board with ActionAid. He’s not just another rock star, he really knows his stuff. He is now taking Africa’s messages on aid, trade and debt to the G8. Let’s hope they listen and take real action."
