Barnaby’s travels to Brazil take him deep into the Amazon rainforest. He experiences the beauty of the forest and investigates how this is being threatened by deforestation.

However the highlight of Barnaby’s trip is a visit to an ActionAid partnership project called CEACC (Research Centre for Cultural Action and Citizenship) in the City of God.

Barnaby Bear goes to Kenya

In Barnaby Bear’s first trip to Africa, pupils can follow his exciting journey from a busy Kenyan town to an inspiring rural village.

Barnaby meets local families and learns about what it is like to live, work and play in Kenya.

The resources include stunning film clips that bring the subject to life, as well as photos, posters and cartoons that explore the different aspects of life in Kenya.
