Due to an overwhelming response, the ballot for the 2013 London Marathon has now closed.

If you missed the chance to apply, you can still apply for one of our charity places by emailing run@actionaid.org

If you are lucky enough to secure a place in the race through the ballot and you'd like to raise money for ActionAid, we'd love to have you on board! There is no minimum sponsorship fee, and you will be supported as all our ActionAid team members are and simply asked to raise as much sponsorship as you can.

Congratulations to all our runners who took part in the 2012 Virgin London Marathon in aid of ActionAid! We hugely appreciate your hard work and commitment, months of training and fundraising. We so enjoyed cheering you along the route and meeting you at our post-race reception. Thank you so much for your support of ActionAid.
