'Powering Change' is an innovative partnership between ActionAid and Good Energy that seeks to empower individuals to reduce their environmental impact and help poor and marginalised communities adapt to climate change.

Developing countries will suffer the most from the negative impacts of climate change - food insecurity, reduced water availability, reduced income, loss of forests and marine resources and a general increase in the frequency and severity of extreme weather events. For poor people climate change is not just another economic loss; it threatens the very possibility of escape from poverty.

The 'Powering Change' partnership means you can support ActionAid whilst knowing that your household or business is benefiting the environment and reducing the impact of climate change.

As a Good Energy customer, you will not only be choosing 100% renewable electricity, but if you quote 'ActionAid' when you switch, Good Energy will donate £30 to ActionAid for each new household that joins up and up to £120 for companies. If you are still a customer a year later, ActionAid will recieve a further £10.
