Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Himalayas, join us in Nepal to work with a local community building vital family homes which will make a real and lasting difference to people’s lives.
During your First Hand Experience in Nepal you will meet and work with the people you are helping. People who have been freed from a life of bonded labour, left with inadequate or no housing. You will work with them on an ActionAid project to build new homes and a new future, fully immersing yourself in the warmth of Nepalese culture and discovering the vibrancy and spirituality of this magical land.
You will also have the chance to explore the vibrant city of Kathmandu.
No experience is necessary – just enthusiasm, motivation and the desire to help make a difference!
We will support you with your fundraising and preparations and can put you in touch with others in your team as well as people who have done an event before. Read about some of our supporters' experiences to get a taster of what you can expect!
Registration fee: £300 Minimum sponsorship: £3200
All flight and expedition arrangements are being undertaken by Charity Challenge (ATOL 6546)
