Launched in 2002 by our patron, HRH the Prince of Wales, Ambassadors  make a commitment to donate £5,000 or more a year to support ActionAid’s priority work.

What can you expect as an Ambassador?
As an Ambassador, you will be given one-to-one contact with a member of our Ambassador team who will ensure that you are kept up to date with developments in ActionAid, the work you are supporting and any particular interestes you may have. You will receive email updates and reports from the field.

You will also be invited to special Ambassador briefings and other ActionAid events throughout the year. Our briefing events give a real insight into ActionAid’s work and provide an excellent opportunity for guests to speak to ActionAid staff who work in our country programmes. Over the past year, briefing topics have included climate change and how this affects what we do, and our work surrounding education and HIV/AIDS.

For those Ambassadors who are able to make an additional contribution we can also organise international project visits.

Donations can be made either in a lump sum or in installments.
