A diverse group of people, Ambassadors all have one thing in common: a strong desire to join ActionAid in tackling both the symptoms and root causes of poverty. We currently have around 100 committed Ambassadors.
What our Ambassadors say:
Tony and Michelle Hillary
"We've seen how our money has been used, how well projects are managed, the quality of the team and the hope that has been given. Will you join us?"
Trevor Pears
Trevor Pears is a generous supporter of our work in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Visiting on behalf of the Pears Foundation, Charles Keidan travelled to see ActionAid projects in the DRC in 2005 to see how their money was being spent. Read Charles' account of the work he saw.
Kathy Hollidge
"I feel hugely privileged to be able to be involved with such an important opportunity to make a difference to people's lives. I am proud to be involved with the ActionAid Ambassador Network. This isn't a selfless act, it's rewarding, a two-way thing, and it feels great. You could call me a donor, but I know I'm a beneficiary."
