A diverse group of people, Ambassadors all have one thing in common: a wish to join ActionAid in tackling both the symptoms and root causes of poverty. We currently have over 100 committed Ambassadors.

Trevor Pears is a generous supporter of our work in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Visiting on behalf of the Pears Foundation, Charles Keidan travelled to see ActionAid projects in the DRC in 2005 to see how their money was being spent. Read Charles' account of the work he saw.
