Campaigning with ActionAid really gets results Over the last few years ActionAid has helped to:

• Get the government to double its aid budget
• Get the leaders of the G8 to promise HIV treatment for all who need it
• Drop the debts of poor countries worth over $50 billion

These achievements have transformed the lives of millions of people living in developing countries. After debt cancellation and aid increases Tanzania was able to abolish primary school fees enabling 95% of children to attend school.
