Campaign resources

ActionAid’s Who pays? campaign is pressing the government for binding new rules to make UK supermarkets play fair overseas.

To make the government take action, we need to show them enough people care. So, we started our loyalty pledge, which now has over 40,000 signatories and makes our voice stronger when we lobby for change.

The government inquiry into supermarkets is already listening to ActionAid campaigners, but we need to keep up the pressure and make sure they bring in a new watchdog to help solve the problems. This could make a massive difference to the lives of millions of women workers in developing countries, who produce the goods we buy in UK supermarkets.

That’s where you come in….

Make sure you’ve pledged your loyalty, and get others involved too. You could ask members of your trade union, church, mosque, community group, university or workplace to sign up. Don't forget your friends and family too!
