1. Student? Do something at your university

You can support ActionAid at your university or college.

• RAG raids with ActionAid are a little bit special. Our dedicated RAG officer Jen always has permits available all over the UK and like all the best DJs, she also does requests. You get all the kit you need including t-shirts, plus a fancy dress theme that will turn your world upside down.

• ActionAid’s global youth network is rocking the boat worldwide as thousands of young people are joining forces to demand a HungerFREE planet.

If you are already part of a campaign / fundraising group, or want to start one up, our Activista network could be just what you are looking for.

Get campaign and leadership training, meet new people, and start changing lives by campaigning in your union.

Students on a RAG raid in London

On this page you'll find 5 amazing ways you can get involved with ActionAid's youth network.

But there are many more... Gig, shop, be an activist, rag raid, download music, volunteer at a festival, skydive, run, make beautiful art, join our social networks, party, organise, go see our work overseas, spread the word with free stuff, OR suggest an idea of your own. Phew.

2. Tell your MP to close tax loopholes

Around the world, multinationals exploit tax loopholes. It costs developing countries much more than they receive in aid each year.

Tax revenues that could pay for teachers, doctors, clean water and roads are being sucked out of poor countries and into tax havens.

Ophelia, pictured, is struggling to complete her education. She can't study at night without electricity in her village.

It's time big business stopped tax dodging and paid its fair share.
