Skydiving, running and trips overseas

There are loads of ways you can fundraise for ActionAid. Here are a few of the youth team favourites, for more ideas, visit the main ActionAid site.

Skydive

Ollie and a group of his friends did a sponsored skydive for us in March 2010.

Fancy freefalling 10,000 ft? To Skydive for us you'll need to raise at least £395.

You'll do the training and tandem jump in one day, and will be safely strapped to a pro all the way down.

Plan your own adventure

Gavin and Adam cycled from Land’s End to John O’ Groats, starting in only their pants! We love it when people have their own fundraising ideas. Gavin and Adam cycled the length of Britain without spending a penny, and Lee Hughes is planning an ambitious year long cycle to New Zealand! Whether your idea is small or big, (and it doesn't have to involve cycling) we can help you make it happen.

How can you help fight poverty without donating? Let us count the ways: Gig, shop, be an activist, rag raid, download music, volunteer at a festival, skydive, run, make beautiful art, join our social networks, party, organise, go see our work overseas, spread the word with free stuff, OR suggest an idea of your own. Phew.
