So we had a thought. What if we didn't ask people to push their round selves into any square holes? What if we asked people to fight poverty in their own way?
After all, the more people get involved, the louder our voices.
Before long we had people putting on gigs, making art, even breaking world records, all in the name of Bollocks to Poverty.
And it's not just events, there are plenty of things you do every day which can help us - from shopping, to surfing the internet, and maybe some things you've always wanted to do - like skydiving, running a marathon or helping on a development project abroad.
The idea is simple. Do something you love; help fight poverty.
Taking the Bollocks to Poverty message to festivals and other events gets people really interested in what ActionAid does, and our amazing volunteers make it happen.
They help us communicate the passion, energy and commitment that ActionAid has to fighting poverty.
As you might have noticed by the cold nip in the air, festival season is over (boo!). BUT you can register for next summer below.
