Michelle Lewis, 28 from Kent
"It really was the most amazing thing I've ever done, and to know it has helped to raise funds for people who need it more than us is the cherry on the cake.
"When going up in the plane you suddenly realise how high 10,000ft actually is...I know that may sound silly, but at 5,000ft I thought we were at the right height, only to be told we were under half way! When the door in the plane opened, and I was shuffled along the view was breath stopping...don't get me wrong I was frightened, but also you suddenly realise just how beautiful the land is when looking at it from a bird's eye view.
"Personally I preferred the freefall, as it really doesn't feel like you're falling, the air rush kinda holds you in place. When the parachute opens the world goes so quiet, as the air through your ears when falling is like a water fall. The parachute ride was good, as you get more time to look about, but it just doesn't feel as secure I suppose as the freefall.
"I think because it was such an "extreme" activity to raise money it really made it easier for fundraising. I've raised money in the passed when running for charity, but I know the skydive made much more of an impact. After all, a majority of people sponsoring me would never ever ever throw themselves out of a plane, even if it was for charity, but could run if push came to shove.
"All in all I was well chuffed, and it was definitely an experience I will remember for the rest of my life."
