Help ActionAid’s poverty relief work by challenging yourself to trek on the historic paths of the Great Wall of China.

• head deep into the countryside away from the normal tourist routes
• marvel at panoramic vistas from watch towers
• witness un-restored sections of the wall dating back to the Ming Dynasty
• explore Beijing and visit the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square
• immerse yourself in history, mythology and ancient traditions

If you would like to see some of ActionAid’s work in China we can try and coordinate a project visit for you either before or after your trek to see how first hand how your fundraising can help change the lives of those living in poverty.

Preparations

• No experience is necessary – just enthusiasm, motivation and the desire to help make a difference!
• We will support you with your fundraising and preparations and can put you in touch with others in your team as well as people who have done an event before.
• Registration fee £250, minimum sponsorship £2600
