The third edition of the Chembakolli: Life and change in an Indian village photopack is now available.
Packed full of stunning new images and new stories, it chronicles the changes that have taken place in Chembakolli and the surrounding area. Featuring updates on some of the people from earlier photo packs, it shows how life has changed for the Adivasi people, the original people of the area. Produced in partnership with them, ten per cent of all profits from sales go directly to help the Adivasis.
For the first time, images, worksheets, audio and much more are available on CD-Rom, ideal for personalising for classes and using with interactive white boards. The activities in the pack also seed key geographical concepts such as diversity, sustainability and interdependence.

The photopack is designed for teaching geography, citizenship, rights and offers a rare opportunity to explore the depth of an Indian village. Written with the new Primary curriculum in mind and supporting QCA Unit 10, this updated resource compares and contrasts life here in the UK with everyday life in an Indian village. Primary aged children will learn how healthcare, education and work have changed for the Adivasi people and the issues that still remain.
