Three ways to say bollocks to poverty at your college or university!
For RAG groups

Most colleges and universities will have a RAG (Raising and Giving) society that organises activities and events to support a range of charities.
RAG raids with ActionAid are a little bit special.
Our dedicated RAG officer Jen always has permits available all over the UK and like all the best DJs, she also does requests.
>>Check our latest permits, find out what we do for you and register for a raid
Join ActionAid's global youth network, Activista

ActionAid's youth network has hundreds of members all over the world, including groups in universities and colleges all over the UK.
Whether you join an existing group or start your own, you'll get campaign and leadership training, meet new people, and start changing lives by campaigning in your union.

Join ActionAid's global emergencies team

Think you could help us raise money when an emergency hits?
Next time a disaster strikes, like the earthquake in Haiti or the food crisis in East Africa, the Global Emergencies Team will be there to help us raise funds when we need them most urgently.

For the latest news on what you can do for ActionAid at your uni, check out our page on UCAS' Young Academic website.
How can you help fight poverty without donating? Let us count the ways: Gig, shop, be an activist, rag raid, download music, volunteer at a festival, skydive, run, make beautiful art, join our social networks, party, organise, go see our work overseas, spread the word with free stuff, OR suggest an idea of your own. Phew.
Perfect for Fresher’s week but just as good all year round, if you are involved with union entertainments, you will love this pack.
Your student union probably has a RAG society which raises thousands of pounds every year for good causes. As a student, you get a say in which charities they support, so if you like what ActionAid does, nominate us!
