Olympian Mark Foster gets it off his chest for ActionAid

18 June 2009

The Olympic swimmer, also known for his stint on Strictly Come Dancing last year, had a t-shirt body painted on to his well known torso for PoverTee Day. Proving that everyone can find a way to wear a t-shirt, Mark was one of the many people who ditched their usual suit or uniform on Friday 26 June and donated £2 to ActionAid to help fight global poverty and hunger.

During the body painting, Mark explained why just £2 can make such a difference: “I know times are tough, but you’d easily spend £2 on a cup of coffee. If you give it to ActionAid instead, you can give a child in Bangladesh a healthy breakfast for a month”.
