With our help, lives have changed for the better and we want to keep it that way.

We must ensure that children like Saman can stay safely at home; that children affected by HIV/AIDS have access to nutritious food; and that people are equipped to survive climate disasters.  Your money is also needed to help people whose livelihoods have been destroyed by the financial crisis.

• £345,000 is a lot of money but you could help us raise it by making ActionAid your company’s chosen charity and getting all your staff fundraising, saving thousands of lives in Cambodia in the process.
• £23,000 could buy goats to help 450 children orphaned by AIDS and 200 adults have a nutritious diet and a source of income.
• £17,000 could help us provide life saving equipment and teach 5,000 people in Bangladesh how to survive a cyclone.
  
• £37.90 could buy a month’s food parcel for a family of five affected by flooding in Vietnam.
  
• £10 could provide 4 children in Uganda with access to safe, clean water.
