Soap star Tupele Dorgu (pictured, right) and TV presenter Ranvir Singh will be taking part in a 10,000 foot skydive for charity ActionAid in Lancashire on 5 September.
The Coronation Street actress - who plays Kelly Crabtree and featured in Soapstar Superstar - and the BBC North West presenter are jumping to raise money and awareness for some of the poorest people in the world - and inviting residents from all over Lancashire to do the same.
And Tupele's Corrie colleague Katy Cavanagh (Julie Carp in the show) will be running the Adidas Women's Challenge in Hyde Park the following day!
Tupele will freefall from 10,000 feet in her first ever skydive. BBC North West Tonight presenter Ranvir Singh will also be jumping for the first time, from the same height.
Ranvir said: "I’'ve always wanted to do a skydive and am thrilled to have the chance to do it for ActionAid. I'm so excited, although sure the nerves will kick in at the last minute when I am 10,000 feet up in the air and about to jump! It will definitely be an experience to remember."
Katy Cavanagh (pictured, left) said: "I'm really looking forward to taking part in the 5k women's challenge for ActionAid especially as it's in support of so many amazing and inspiring women across the world."
