ActionAid campaigns by making sure we’re heard on the issues that matter to poor people. There are thousands of ActionAid campaigners in the UK, raising their voices together to make a difference.  

Behind the scenes we’re researching, lobbying and getting media attention, as well as supporting campaigners with training and putting on events to pile on the pressure.

Campaigning with us might mean:

• Signing a petition
• Emailing your MP about a law or an issue in Parliament
• Asking a company about their business practices overseas
• Joining a local group to take action with other ActionAid supporters in your area
• Holding an event or helping out at one to raise awareness of an issue
• Helping out at a festival or getting involved with our youth campaigns
• Writing to your local press
• Coming to a rally or helping out at one
• Visiting your MP to make your point in person
• Blogging, tweeting and joining our groups to get the word out online
• ...Anything else you can think of!
