Blueprint for a brighter future

The people of Giriki have already taken the first crucial steps towards building a primary school. They've:

  • secured a 10 acre site from the local authorities
  • received a commitment from the district education office to pay for one head and seven teachers
  • finalised and approved architectural plans for eight classrooms and an administration block for the teachers and staff
  • planned a sustainable school meals program, so that no-one is ever too hungry to learn

With your support, we can move on to the next phase - and soon the children of Giriki will have a real future free from poverty. Taken from the blueprints for Giriki school
