What is a happy bubble? We're recreating the amazing feelings people get from supporting ActionAid. Surprisingly, this involves space hoppers, blue monsters and free massages – all crammed into giant bubbles.
When and where? Blue Monday, 17 January, officially the most depressing day of the year. 7am-7pm. Right in the middle of the City of London, at Finsbury Avenue Square, Broadgate (nearest tube Liverpool Street station).
How much does it cost? Completely free!
How does it smell? We asked ActionAid supporters to choose a smell that really evoked the feelings ActionAid gave them... they said "Freshly baked choc chip cookies"
Why is ActionAid building a bubble full of happy feelings?
In 2010, we talked to lots of supporters like Sylvia (pictured above). They told us that supporting ActionAid made them feel amazing.
So now we want to share those feelings with the world!
The happy bubble is our way of celebrating all the supporters who've felt excited, outraged, warm and fluffy, or inspired over the last 35 years. And because it's all happening in one of the busiest places in London, we're hoping to inspire thousands more people to join us and get the special feeling that comes from helping to end poverty, together.
Still confused? Then drop by on 17 January and take a look.
