We asked ourselves - what would happen if we took three high profile bloggers to visit our women's rights work in Brazil?
Thats what we're about to find out.
8th March is the 100th International Women’s Day and we think it’s time to ask if men and women around the world are equal yet.
That's why we're taking three amazing bloggers to experience first-hand what youth in Brazil think about equality between sexes, and how they are working to change their communities for the better.
ActionAid's Helen will be taking Marsha from Soul Culture, Shan from Pinboard Blog and Hannah from Bitch Buzz on a once in a lifetime trip. They'll all be blogging on the people they meet, including:
• An inspiring youth group, formed on the banks of the Amazon river, who are spreading the word about safe sex and the right to say no
• Students living in one of Rio’s most dangerous favelas
• Outspoken MCs
• The local people running and benefitting from ActionAid's work
And all with the mayhem of carnival going on in the background!
