Saw these guys play down in Australia when we played the Parklife festival down there, the crowds erupted in a frenzied dance when they finished their set with this one

Went to glasto for the first time two years ago and caught this set, 100 000 people singing along even after the song had finished, it was a goose bumps moment.

Avalon - Roxy Music buy
I'm a massive Roxy fan, my sister had the delight of playing violins for them, so I sneaked backstage at Lovebox last year and waltzed with my mum to this number from the side of the stage.

Old old Fashioned - Frightened Rabbit buy
 Saw them play at Rockness up in Scotland and recognised this song, along with everyone at the festival, they know how to get a crowd going...

Sweet disposition - Temper Trap buy
 There's nothing you can really say about this one, it's just obviously got to be in the top ten.

Little Lion Man - Mumford and Sons buy
I defy anyone, after hearing these chaps belt out their four part harmonies at a festival, to not have the hairs on the back of their neck standing on end...

Albion - The Libertines buy
in the midst of the Libertines hedonistic period, this song stuck out to me as being a real summery corker, 'gin in tea cups and leaves on the lawn' sums up a perfect summer's day really...
