Teachers wanted to work with ActionAid

Do you think you can inspire young people to make a difference?  Join our network of ActionAid teachers and help to facilitate global learning in schools through assemblies and class workshops.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate and enthusiastic about global issues and can represent the work of ActionAid to young people.

You must have some experience of working with young people and the skills to communicate complex issues in an engaging and accessible way.

You will be paid £60 per half-day and £115 per full day visit, as well as your travel expenses.

We provide training and resources and the opportunity to become part of a valuable service to schools.

We recruit teachers to the network roughly three times a year, depending on the need.

We expect the next round of recruitment to take place in the first quarter of 2012. Keep an eye on this web page for updates.
