Climate change talks

The talks, delivered by our network of qualified ActionAid teachers, covers learning about what climate change is, investigating the impact climate change can have on people in developing countries, and how your pupils can take action to reduce the effects of climate change in the future.

Climate change talksThe presentations contain lots of engaging images and fascinating facts, as well as activities to help your pupils get to grips with the issues.

Your pupils will hear the stories of people living in the areas that suffer the worst effects of climate change, and learn about how they are having to adapt to deal with the problems.

Pupils will also be encouraged to explore the causes of climate change, particularly energy use, and to think about actions they can take to reduce the impact of climate change in the future by powering down at home and at school.
