In December 2007, 21 supporters returned triumphant from ActionAid’s first community build challenge in Cambodia.
The challenge was to build community centres to help change the lives of local communities, providing space to hold health workshops, education and vocational training.
It was a unique opportunity to work alongside local communities to make a lasting difference.
The group worked incredibly hard on site, working alongside local people. The 3 centres are now open and will be benefiting 4,000 people. The group raised an incredible £84,000! Well done to all.

The three completed community centres.
