Creative ideas for raising money on your own

Who needs other people? There are many ways to raise money for ActionAid on your own...

ActionAid supporters fundraising through a tea and coffee break

You could give up one of your vices such as crisps or chocolate and get friends to sponsor your new found virtue.

You could make and sell cakes, clear out your junk for a car boot sale, or use your skills for a fundraising event with a difference.

You could join one of our overseas adventures, running events or organise a collection at your place of worship.

Whether it's weird and wacky or quiet and serious - whatever you do, make sure you have fun doing it!

Ellie Bloodworth and her Dad taking part in the 3 peaks challenge

3 Peaks Challenge
Ellie Bloodworth recently undertook the three peaks challenge to raise funds for ActionAid. This involved climbing and descending Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales, and travelling the distances in between, all in under 24 hours! If you would be interested in taking on this challenge please contact us at: events@actionaid.org
