Choosing the right card for you

You can show your support for ActionAid by choosing from one of two types of ActionAid credit card.

For each card, the Co-operative Bank has secured a number of benefits for our supporters:

The ActionAid Money Where Your Mouth Is credit card

  • Standard interest rate of 12.9% APR representative/variable for purchases, balance transfers* AND cash withdrawals.
  • Up to 59 days' interest free credit if balance is paid in full by the due date
  • You can ask The Co-operative Bank to match your existing credit limit
  • £15 for every account opened – which could train two local people in basic healthcare in Mozambique
  • A further £2.50, if your account is used within six months – which could provide a jotter and a pen for 14 children in a non-formal school in Ethiopia
  • Plus 25p for every £100 you spend using the card and 25p for every £100 you transfer to the card – 24p could send a campaigning postcard to your local MP, supporting the rights of girls to go to school

The ActionAid Standard credit card

  • No interest on purchases and balance transfers* for six months
  • Reverts to a rate of 18.9% APR representative/variable
  • Up to 46 days' interest free credit if balance is paid in full by the due date
  • A balance transfer fee is applicable during promotional rate periods only (minimum of £5)
  • You can ask The Co-operative Bank to match your existing credit limit
  • £15 for every account opened – which could train two local people in basic healthcare in Mozambique
  • A further £2.50, if your account is used within six months – which could provide a jotter and a pen for 14 children in a non-formal school in Ethiopia
  • Plus 25p for every £100 you spend using the card and 25p for every £100 you transfer to the card – 24p could send a campaigning postcard to your local MP, supporting the rights of girls to go to school

Credit facilities are provided by The Co-operative Bank and are subject to
status.  Applicants must be UK residents, aged 18 years or over and have an annual income of £10,000.

* Excludes balance transfers from credit cards issued by The Co-operative Bank.
