Payroll giving

Give a gift to ActionAid through your payroll and your money will do even more to help families living in poverty.  That's because your gift is taken from your salary before tax is deducted.  So, for each £1 you give, the taxman pays an additional 28p, and ActionAid receives £1.28*.

Giving a donation regularly is the best way to support ActionAid.  This is because it gives us a reliable income we can count on in order to plan our work in poor communities as effectively as possible.

Every pound makes a difference

  • £7 could buy the books a child in Ethiopia needs to start school.
  • £10 could buy hoes, buckets and a seed pack for a family in Zimbabwe to grown their own food.
  • £15 could train two local people in basic healthcare in Mozambique.
  • £20 could send a child to school for two years in Rwanda.
  • £42 could provide six people with safe, clean water in Mozambique.

In return for your support, you'll see the difference you're making through letters and photos from children and adults involved with ActionAid projects twice a year.  You'll also receive ActionAid's supporter magazine, Common Cause, three times a year.
