Do you want to meet new people, have fun and change lives at the same time? Why not start fundraising for ActionAid and help us in the fight against poverty. There are so many ways to get involved in your local area.
Why not join one of our dedicated ActionAid Supporter Groups, who have a wealth of experience in organising successful fundraising events. Getting involved with a local group is a great way to meet new people in your area. Our groups are always looking for new members, so they would be delighted to hear from you! We currently have supporter groups in the following areas:
North East: Hexham, Hartlepool
North West: Crosby, South Lakes (Lake District), Southport, Wirral
North: Harrogate, Hope Valley, Hull, Ilkley, Keighley, Leeds, Ripon, York
West Midlands: Shrewsbury, Stourbridge, Wolverhampton, Worcester
East: Cambridge, Ipswich, Peterborough
South West: Bath
South East: Beaconsfield, Cray Valley (Orpington), Deal, Lingfield & Dormandsland, Royston, Twickenham
Wales: Cardiff, Swansea
Channel Islands: Guernsey
Europe: Brussels, Gibraltar, Luxembourg
If you would like to get in touch with a group in your area, or to find out how to start up your very own group, please send us an email on events@actionaid.org
If there doesn't happen to be a group in your area you could get together with friends, family or workmates and start a group of your own! We will offer you full support with getting started and, once your group is up and running, provide you with a personal contact to provide you with advice and ideas to help make your events as successful as possible.
