ActionAid’s 6 Degrees project is based on the '6 degrees of separation' theory, which says that we are all connected to any other person in the world by no more than six introductions.
The project has seen ActionAid join forces with Ivor Novello winner (and president of Epic Records) Amanda Ghost to re-record Chaka Khan’s classic anthem I’m Every Woman and now sees the release of a haiku poetry book.
A list of inspiring women, including Cherie Blair, Yoko Ono and Dame Judi Dench have written Haikus along with a number of inspiring women we work with across the world.
