When there's so much to campaign on in the UK, it can be easy to lose sight of what’s happening around the world. Which is why I’m really excited that three pioneers for tax justice from Kenya, Costa Rica and the Philippines are in London at the beginning of July, to share their experiences of campaigning where it matters most.
We’ve got a fantastic event lined up. Our speakers will tell us why tax justice is a crucial poverty issue, how they’ve been tackling the tax dodgers, and what we can do to campaign together for tax justice.
Hear from three inspiring speakers:
>>Alvin Mosioma – Tax Justice Network Africa
Alvin has developed a thriving network of organisation campaign on tax justice in Africa.
>> Lidy Nacpil – Jubilee South – Philippines
Lidy has campaigned on economic justice issues for 20 years. She is a leading activist in the anti-debt and tax justice movements in the Philippines.
>>Jorge Coronado – Latindadd – Costa Rica
Jorge is a key member of the Latin America network for debt, development and rights.
