Make your Will this November and help a child like Karuna go back to school.
An up-to-date Will ensures that the people we care about are looked after in the future. We know having a Will is a good idea, but many of us put it off.
This November you can tick it off your list - and support good causes at no extra cost.
Doing good through your Will
Will Aid is simple. Rather than paying a solicitor a fee to write or update your Will, donate to charity instead. The minimum suggested gift is:
- £40 for a codicil
- £90 for a single basic Will or
- £135 for two basic matching/mirror Wills
Will Aid helps raise millions of pounds each year for nine of the UK’s best loved charities, including ActionAid.
Leaving a gift in your Will
When writing or updating your Will, you might want to make sure that your values live on after your death. Our video shows how one woman's kindness has changed the lives of five children in Nepal.
It is very helpful for us to know if you have already left a gift to ActionAid in your Will. It helps give us a sense of our long-term financial security, as well as a chance to say thank you.
If you have any questions about remembering ActionAid in your Will - or would like to let us know about a gift that you have made in your Will - please contact ActionAid's Peter de Vena Franks. You can call 020 3122 0512 or email email@example.com
Getting started with Will Aid
First, you'll need to make an appointment with a participating solicitor. Enter your home or work postcode to find one in your local area.
The Will Aid campaign lasts for just the month of November. Solicitors get booked up very quickly. Contact your solicitor as early as possible to secure an appointment. Don't miss out.
