ActionAid Live is the world's first emergency music network. Bands, musicians and promoters across the UK have signed up to fundraise for victims of emergencies all over the world.
Got a band? Got a venue? Got a ukelele and a lot of enthusiasm? Then you're ready to save lives in a humanitarian emergency...
Many well-known artists have pledged their support to ActionAid Live already, including The Wombats, Everything Everything, Chapel Club, Cancer Bats and Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens.
How does it work?
When an earthquake, flood, tsunami, war or famine hits, everyone who has signed up to ActionAid Live will receive all the latest information about that emergency and its response. To help make your event a success, you also receive:
template flyers and posters
badges to put on your website
guides on how to put on a fundraising event
help selling tickets through our partner WeGotTickets
a chance to be promoted by ActionAid Live partner Gigwise
membership of a network of bands, promoters and venues all over the country, ready to lend a hand
ActionAid live is part of ActionAid's global emergencies team, a dedicated network of rapid-response fundraisers, determined to help the people most in need when disaster strikes.
Sell your event tickets through WeGotTickets and they will donate 20% of the booking fee for all ActionAid Live events. They will also offer all customers across the site the chance to donate when an emergency strikes.
