For your chance to see ActionAid's HIV and AIDS work first-hand as well as exploring the stunning country of Malawi, join Mission Malawi.

What is it? Mission Malawi 6 is your chance to see ActionAid's HIV and AIDS work first-hand.

When is it? 20-28 September 2014

On this trip you will meet the people your fundraising will help to support - and learn about their lives, their challenges and their successes. The previous five Mission Malawi trips have raised over £400,000 to date.

New for 2014 - Mission Malawi will no longer involve cycling, but instead will be a trekking and kayaking challenge. Firstly, you will climb the magnificent Mount Mulanje, the highest mountain in south-central Africa. For the second part of the challenge, you'll kayak across Lake Malawi and explore Cape Maclear and Mumbo Island.

As well as the physical challenge of this adventure, you will visit ActionAid-supported HIV and AIDS projects, to see how the funds you have raised are helping those who need it most.

No experience is necessary to take part in Mission Malawi: just enthusiasm, motivation and the desire to make a difference.

We will support you with your fundraising and can put you in touch with others in your team, as well as people who have done an event before.
