Jane Moyo
Head of Media Relations
Jane Moyo oversees media relations for all ActionAid's campaigns, which currently include women's rights, HungerFREE, biofuels and child sponsorship amongst others.
Jane joined ActionAid in 1997. With a degree in economics and a background at the British Council, she originally specialised in fundraising PR, before moving into emergencies and media advocacy around HIV and AIDS.
Jane has run the media team since the beginning of 2006. During this time she has set up news and PR units and helped make greater inroads into television, with the appointment of a specialist broadcast journalist to widen ActionAid’s reach and support.

Anjali Kwatra
Head of News and Current Affairs
Anjali Kwatra leads the News and Current Affairs team and works on the tax justice and biofuels campaigns as well as on ActionAid’s work on women’s rights in Afghanistan.
Anjali has worked extensively in national and international press for publications including Press Association, The Express, The Guardian and AOL. She spent three years as South Asia Editor for Agence France-Press, based in Delhi, and has also worked for Christian Aid as their International Journalist.

Susan Alderson
Celebrity, Coordinator
Susan Mearns works on any and every campaign requiring celebrity input. These currently include women's rights, HungerFREE child sponsorship and events such as Call my wine bluff.
Susan worked in PR in Scotland before joining the ActionAid press office in 1995.

Leslie Sinoway
Senior PR Officer
Leslie works across all of ActionAid’s campaigns. These currently include Bollocks to Poverty, women's rights, HungerFREE, child sponsorship and events such as Call my wine bluff.
Leslie has worked extensively in magazine publishing, but specialised in the youth press. She edited two young women’s magazines – Mizz and Bliss - and is currently an online agony aunt for MyBliss. She has also been a youth consultant working with NGOs such as TimeBank and KidsCompany.

Natalie Curtis
Journalist - Emergencies and Content
Natalie is ActionAid’s roving reporter, deployed during humanitarian emergencies and sourcing stories from across the globe.
For three years Natalie worked as ActionAid’s International Media Manager, coordinating our media work across 40 countries. Prior to joining ActionAid she was Oxfam’s Senior Press Officer for climate change and before that led the media work of the 300-NGO strong Cluster Munition Coalition - the international campaign that secured a global treaty banning cluster bombs in 2008.
