Busy weekend? Do you now have another busy week ahead of you? Me too.
So I was excited to hear about a great initiative called Give as you Live that enables you to raise money for one of 200,000 causes in the UK without any cost – both financially and in terms of time – to yourself.
Sounds perfect, right? Well it basically is.
All you need to do is sign up for an account, download their add-on to your computer and then every time you shop at one of the 2,000 online retailers that have signed up already, you can raise money for your chosen cause.
We seem to lead increasingly busy lives and if you’re anything like me, you probably find things stay on your ever-growing to-do list for quite a while or fall off all together. I love that I can contribute to charity without adding to my list!
Unsurprisingly I’ve chosen ActionAid as my charity and it’s great knowing that in addition to the excitement I get when I’m expecting the delivery of my latest online purchase, or as I continue to spend much of my time booking trains on The Trainline, I will also be raising cash to help ActionAid continue to work with poor and excluded people to eradicate poverty and injustice.
If you’re interested, there’s a great chance to find out more today as @giveasyoulive are hosting a Twitter party from 2-3pm, when they will announce the results from their recent Digital Giving Review and you can find out more about what they do.

Now, where did I put that to-do list…
