More than half a million people in Europe are taking action, donating money and sponsoring children to support ActionAid’s projects around the world.
Most of the money we invest in our development work is raised in Europe from Italy, Greece, Sweden, Denmark, France, The Netherlands, Ireland and Spain.
With our supporters’ help we are able to run campaigns, make ourselves heard in the media and demand that the EU and national governments take action to end poverty.
ActionAid’s European Union office is in Brussels, where we can take the fight against poverty and injustice to the heart of the EU's policies on people's right to food, women’s rights and development finance.
