Donate to ActionAid UK to help women and girls living in poverty around the world.
Right now, millions of women and girls are suffering during humanitarian crises, struggling to make a living, and facing violence and discrimination.
They need our help.
ActionAid provides emergency aid, sets up safe spaces during disasters and works on long-term solutions such as education, training, and support so women and girls can invest in their futures.
We need your help to do more. Will you help us support women and girls?
About ActionAid
ActionAid is an international charity that works with women and girls living in poverty in 40 countries including those across Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Founded in 1972, ActionAid has been fighting poverty worldwide for nearly 50 years.
What does ActionAid do?
ActionAid is working towards a world in which every woman and girl can enjoy the right to a life of dignity, freedom from poverty and discrimination.
We're committed to ending the cycle of violence in communities around the world, enabling women's economic empowerment, and supporting women and girls during humanitarian crises.
We build relationships with communities - especially women and girls - we listen to the challenges they face and work with them to find the best long-standing solutions.
Our dedicated local staff are changing the world with women and girls.
Why do we ask for a regular donation?
Every donation counts, and we’re grateful for whatever you feel you can afford.
A one-off donation is a fantastic start, but issues that women and girls face, like violence and poverty, are long-term problems, and they need long-term solutions.
Regular donations mean we can commit to working with women and girls for as long as it takes.
A monthly gift from you allows us to make ambitious plans, and invest in the futures of young girls, women and their communities.
It means we can make a real, sustainable difference to the lives of women and girls.
Your regular donation will be used where it is needed most to further ActionAid’s general charitable purposes.

We chose to register with the Fundraising Regulator and adhere to their Code of Fundraising Practice, and we make sure that all fundraisers, volunteers and third parties working with us to raise funds do so as well.

For every £1 you donate we spend:
67p on programme activity, including humanitarian and development work
20p on fundraising
