How your 2.6 challenge donations could help
As Covid-19 spreads to the world’s poorest countries, where there are less robust healthcare systems and poor access to sanitation facilities, it is now more urgent than ever to support the most vulnerable. ActionAid is responding to the pandemic, distributing hygiene kits, personal protective equipment, preventative information about the spread of the virus, and food packages to families and informal workers who have no way of earning a living during lockdown.
£10 could provide a hygiene kit, including soap for a family in Senegal for a month.
£26 could pay for a box of 100 face masks for people living in the densely populated Rohingya refugee camps.
£55 could provide a cash transfer to a family in Haiti who are struggling to earn a living and buy food during lock down.
