What will I be doing?
Sept 26 — 27th
Fly overnight to Kathmandu - the gateway to the Nepali Himalaya. You’ll get the chance to meet the team at your first team dinner.
The experience begins with a flight through towering snow-capped mountains to Lukla. After lunch enjoy an acclimatisation trek finishing at Tok-Tok village.
Leaving Tok-Tok you’ll cross spectactular suspension bridges as you make your way to the bustling Namche Bazaar.
With Everest now in sight you’ll have time to acclimatise throughout the day with a walk to the top of Namche Bazaar, or enjoy the panoramic views from Everest View Hotel.
Follow the winding trail from Namche Bazaar to Deboche where you’ll spend the night in the shadow of the Ama Dablam peak.
Leaving Debouche, you’ll follow the Payer Mani Wall towards Shomare. Enjoy the descent into the Imjatse Valley and finally get to rest your legs in the village of Dingboche.
Today is an acclimatisation day, you’ll be able to spend your day exploring the monastery and admiring the stunning vistas from the ridges over Dingboche.
Today you’ll head north and follow the path towards Thukla for lunch, today you’ll get unrivalled views of Mt. Pumori whilst you make your way to Loboche.
Set off on rocky moraine paths and climb above the glacial ponds of the Khumbu Glacier and arrive at Gorakshep, famous for being Sir Edmund Hilary’s base camp during his expedition to Mount Everest.
Oct 6th — The Final Ascent!
Today is the day — your ascent to Everest Base Camp! You’ll make your way through the Khumbu ice-fall following its ever-changing trail.
The commotion and activity around Everest Base Camp will spur you on, and once you arrive you’ll be able to celebrate your amazing achievement!
Today you have the option to hike to Kala Patthar where you’ll be rewarded with the breath-taking views of Everest’s peak. You’ll start the descent with an overnight stay in Pheriche.
Make your way along the Imja-Tse gorge and up to Tyangboche, you’ll get to set up camp for the night alongside the beautiful Dudh Koshi River.
Make your way through pine forest as you make the journey back to Namche Bazaar where you’ll enjoy lunch.
Today is your last day of walking, you’ll follow the Bhote Kushi River towards Phakding, finally making your way to Lukla where you’ll be staying in a traditional teahouse.
Bid farewell to the Himalaya’s as you leave Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu. You’ll have the afternoon to relax, or to visit the Thamel district.
Oct 12th - 13th
Take this time to explore the magical city of Kathmandu, take a stroll through the Garden of Dreams, or visit one of its many monasteries. On the 13th you’ll leave Nepal with fond memories of your incredible adventure!
