Are men and women equal? What does equality look like? This International Women's Day on March 8 we will be asking some tough questions about women's rights and we want young people to join in the debate and let us know whether they think sex discrimination is still a problem today.
As part of EQUALS, a group of leading charities, arts and youth organisations brought together by singer Annie Lennox to celebrate International Women's Day, we are asking young adults aged 18-25 yrs old want to make 2012 a turning point in the fight for women's rights.
A thought-provoking 'debate starter' booklet is available online, packed with discussion points on a range of issues, from body image and unequal pay to why women are more at risk of HIV, and why war makes a woman more vulnerable than a soldier.
You can join the big inequality debate online by watching and responding to our videos, and by inviting friends to 'equalise' their face with yours using our fun Facebook app.
Download the booklet and join the debate via blog, Twitter and Facebook by visiting www.weareequals.org
