What’s in this workshop?

This workshop is a great way to deepen learners understanding of a rural Indian village and explore the concept of Fairtrade. Our interactive Chembakolli, India workshop is run by fully-qualified teachers and your pupils will:

  • Discover the journey tea makes — from the tea plantation in Chembakolli all the way to your classroom
  • Meet the people growing, harvesting and selling tea in Chembakolli
  • Learn about Fairtrade, and how it puts communities and people first
  • Prepare your tea party, learn the team-making dance and, of course, sample some tea!
