International charity ActionAid UK has appointed John Good as interim Chief Executive whilst the organisation recruits for a permanent CEO. Good, who has 15 years of financial and strategic experience in the not-for-profit sector, has served as Chief Operating Officer at ActionAid UK since 2016.
After first taking up the position of acting Chief Executive following the departure of Frances Longley in June, he will now lead the organisation which works with women and girls living in poverty in this interim role.
John Good says, “At ActionAid UK, we are dedicated to supporting and upholding the rights of women and girls around the world. As interim Chief Executive, I will support staff during this period of recruitment to ensure that we continue to deliver on this critical mission.”
