She Can Project Mid Term Review (DFID Aid Match)

An external evaluation of the impact and effectiveness of the She Can project in addressing violence against women in urban environments and supporting safe cities.

Funded by DFID Aid Match, the She Can project has been working to increase safety, mobility, access to justice and gender responsive public services for over 60,000 women and girls living in poverty and exclusion who are vulnerable to violence in 20 urban areas in Bangladesh, Myanmar, Kenya and Zimbabwe. This midterm review report provides an external evaluation of the impact that has been achieved so far, the relevance of the project approaches, the validity of the theory of change and the effectiveness of the monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
