Emergency services looking for people in the rubble.

Women, men and children are being killed and losing their homes as violence intensifies across the Middle East.

More than 1,200 people have been killed and more than 3,750 injured in Lebanon alone. Nearly 1.1 million people are now displaced in the country, including 630,000 women and girls, who face escalating risks of gender-based violence in overcrowded or unsafe shelters. Among them are an estimated 13,500 pregnant women.

Despite increasingly difficult circumstances, ActionAid's local partners are continuing to deliver life-saving assistance in countries where we work across the region.

We urgently need your help to support our local partners to scale up their responses and reach the hardest-hit communities.

Please donate now to help our partners reach families who urgently need support.

Escalating violence in the Middle East

In Gaza, the borders have shut once again cutting off critical supplies of food, water, fuel and medicine which are desperately needed. In the West Bank, the closures of checkpoints continue to affect daily life with access to basic services like hospitals cut off creating deadly consequences for Palestinians.

ActionAid is calling for all parties in the conflict to abide by international humanitarian law and immediately refrain from unlawful attacks. They must take all feasible precautions to protect civilians from harm.
