Promises to Keep: Using the Sustainable Development Goals to stand with Fearless women to end violence

In September 2015, world leaders gathered to launch the Sustainable Development Goals, setting out the global development agenda for the next 15 years.

Building on the recommendations of our 'Fearless' flagship report, 'Promises to Keep' presents five priority actions needed by governments and the international community in order to capitalise on the SDGs and ensure the full implementation of commitments to eliminate violence against women and girls everywhere.

These include support and resourcing to women’s collective action, implementation of laws and national action plans, adequate financing, and improved accountability mechanisms, including for the corporate sector.
