How does ActionAid help women and girls?

We secure better healthcare and education. We champion women and girls' rights to land, shelter and work.
Our dedicated local staff are ending violence against women and girls and helping change lives, for good. We won’t stop until women and girls are out of danger, out of poverty and on track to create the future they want.
How exactly will my donation be spent?
Your donation will be used where it is needed most. We work closely with people in each country and community to make sure that everything we do provides the support they really need to change their lives - for good.
Out of every £1 you give to ActionAid, 74p is spent on programme activity, including humanitarian and development work. 11p is spent on raising more money, 10p is spent on support costs (running the organisation) and 5p is spent on campaigning for change.
